Identified geochemical features of the studied environmental systems
Functions
Chemical analysis of rocks, minerals, concentrates and soils, as well as artificial inorganic materials (concrete, glass, etc.) and amalgamations. The concentration of rock-forming oxides in rocks is determined (major element analysis). Generally, about 40 chemical elements and compounds are determined in the Laboratory.
Used Methods
Weigh and volume chemical analysis of the samples, spectral-photometric and polarographic analysis, nuclear adsorption analysis and emission spectrum analysis .Apart from the practical matters, the Laboratory deals with the theoretical and methodical researches.
