- The study of active geodynamic processes of the territory of Republic of Armenia and adjacent territories,
- Investigation of dangerous geological phenomenas (active faults, landslides, soil leaching, etc.), their interconnection and interactions.
- Geoarchaeological research, which includes active tectonic, seismological investigations of the past, using archaeosomeological methods parallele with archaeoseismological one
